Ordered delivery from here. Dumplings were delicious and arrived still hot. Thai iced tea was ok. I've had better but theirs was ok. Duck sandwich was also good.

It is a hole in the wall. It's more of a takeout location, but I must say the dumplings have been delicious every time .I've ordered the chicken teriyaki and it is fresh. Their prices are extremely reasonable highly recommend trying this little location out.

Vanessa's Dumpling House is dumplings galore! I have previously patronized their original location in Lower East Side, Manhattan, NYC. Vanessa's Dumpling House has indeed expanded to several locations. Lunch on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day year 2025 as the Power of One. Forest Hills was once my former home shared with my former love and occasionally I still trek to Forest Hills. I entered with hunger pangs. My foodie synopsis: 06. Chive and pork boiled dumplings, (韭菜水饺 gau2 coi3 gaau2), $6.98 Good size dumplings abundant of 8 pieces with substance. Chinese dumplings has always been my predilection for comfort food in my worst of times and in my best of times. I always prefer boiled dumplings. 17. Beef noodle soup, (牛肉面 麵, ngau4 juk6 min6) $12.88 The Lamian noodles were abundant of substance, the beef was soft and fell apart when bitten, and the Chinese Bok Choy vegetables were fresh. My family cook these same Bok Choy vegetables at home for dinner. I always enjoy noodle soup as a meal to eat my fill. This is a cafe where seating is first come, first serve yourself. There are no waiter service, but I was content to be indoors with heat and a table, not a ledge. I bus my own food refuse. Nota bene: Kindly bus your own food waste and clear the table upon completing your meal. Facility is available for paying patrons and large in compliance with ADA Act. One unisex facility is available on the premise. Customer service is attentive and patient as I decide with my order. The atmosphere is very modern contemporary and relaxed casual for self-service cafe. Price is reasonable and not excessively in align with 2025 inflation era to foot one's budget without breaking the bank. I departed fulfilled.

This is a great place to quietly eat your dinner. While the restaurant has a few tables, there's always plenty of open seating. You can place your order at the front or at the digital kiosk and sit down for a peaceful meal. The Beef Noodle Soup here has the chewiest noodles with my ideal noodle thickness. There's plenty of beef and bok choy. The meat is tender, not tough, and the one dish is filling. The broth is light but savory. While this noodle dish is simple, it is solid.

I've been a fan of this spot for YEARS. I mean way back before 2013. My friends and I would party in Brooklyn and hit up Vanessa's late at night. Now there's a location in Queens ( happy scream ) and it's not far from me (happy scream ). Yes I go here for dumplings (the chive and pork to be specific) but I really go for the sesame pancake sandwiches. The Peking duck sesame pancake sandwich is my jam. It's the perfect size and the glaze they add to the duck is phenomenal. 5 stars. The service here is quick. There are plenty of seats for a quick bite and go and they usually have lunch specials/combos (when I went they did) so look out for that.
